A Little Bit About Me
Salaam's, still here!
I thought a few weeks on the site would have led to finding that significant other half by now, and I we would be happily married, with half a dozen kids or so - OK maybe not that the many! It's been a daunting challenge so far weeding out that other significant half which we are meant to be with. Do feel free to request photo access. If there is anything else you wish to know don't be shy to ask! There is no harm in having a chat.
Anyway many thanks for taking the time to consider my profile - better get this in now in case you do not manage to read the whole profile. Here goes it is a tad long, you may need a coffee break half way through or a snooze.
I would describe myself as spontaneous adventurous person, totally hands on and practical. Nothing is impossible to do if you have the dedication and patience and of course the will power. Will try anything thing once within reason of course - as long its within the Islamic framework.
Hmmm.... I would defiantly describe myself as easy going, independent, caring, not self centred or materialistic, etc..
Family is important along with moral values and our beliefs. Religiously I am in the middle, and there is always room for improvement and understanding. Hopefully together we can strengthen our deen/knowledge further. It's a lot easier if you have some one who will give you a quick jab in the ribs to keep us on the straight and narrow - and push each other out of bed on those cold dark wintry mornings where you always could do with another 10mins of sleep.
I am extremely down to earth and have vibrant/charismatic personality, and I like to have a bit of two way banter. I'll be honest, I get bored easily, and I am not one of those chaps who lives in front of the TV. I have an active mind, which I like to make use off and therefore love to be actively engaged in some task. That does not mean that I do not occasionally curl up in front of the telly or watch a dvd. We all get those days! Favourite films/DVDs, Heat, Sopranos, The Green mile, Black Adder, GOT, Happy Gilmore, Heroes, are a few which I can recall. Love comedy - Bill Hicks, Larry David’s for example.
Pretty house trained, so I know what cleaning means (yes cleaning), not too bad with the DIY either and can do most things myself, or just chatting with friends or family, or shopping. Don't get too excited ladies, not a prolific shopper yet. Defiantly need some training/guidance on that front.
Love eating range of delicacies and hence cooking, I am no Jamie Oliver or even come close to mummies cooking skills I should point out. There is no harm in trying too though - Fusion seems to be the buzz word in the world of cooking, not sure were I fit in.
I am independent and it would be equally nice if my other half is also fairly self sufficient. Let me clarify this statement. It would be nice if my other half is able to fill in the odd form, and able to visit the Doc without some one holding her hand for example. Of course I will endeavour to be there at all times and ensure that we are passionate in everything we do, when it comes to making choices and living our life's.
As they say it takes two to tango! We live in such a dynamic and evolving world, that there will be the odd day due to work or something, that I will be unable to hold her hand, and of course the other way round too!
I think discussion or general chit chat is very important along with the ability to compromise on matters in any type of fruitful healthy relationship including marriage. It is important to hear all sides of an argument/discussion before one makes any judgement or decision! I am a great believer in not making instant rash decisions on the spot if feasible (not always possible) and rather stew on it for a day.
Other people say that I am friendly and a fairly talkative chap. Hopefully you will also.
I enjoy most sports. Love cycling and running when i get the time . I am a massive motor sport fan and do travel out if the time permits to the occasional F1 Grand Prix. Fairly active when the time and weather permits. I have an affinity to out door activities. I have been fortunate and I have had the pleasure of travelling a small part of the world - its such vast place.
Holidays would be somewhere which has a diverse cultural history, finesse and character. Many things to see, do, learn, enjoy and of course if possible participate in them. I know its asking for a lot! Especially in the UK!
Eagerly awaiting to travel to places like Egypt with my other half, to absorb the wonders of the pyramids, the valley of Pharaohs, early Islamic art and architecture which has fused modern day Egypt into this exciting vibrant place.
Born in the UK (Midlands) and I have lived in the UK.
Family tree originates from Pakistan: Rai/Arian [(Punjab), Faisalabad, Multan, Lahore etc.]. Our mother tongue is Punjabi/Urdu.
Grand parents originate from Pakistan and have been here over 60 years. Immediate family are all based in the UK. Yes like any typical Asian family a good mix of both east and west cultures.
Height: 5' 7.5"
Build: Slim/Medium : well you can make you own opinion from the attached photos.
Full Clean Driving licence - I am astonished with the number of people I have come across who do not possess a Driving licence - it would be nice to share the driving on those long romantic drives.
And Finally...
The only way to gain Knowledge and friendship and a better understanding of the world around us is by meeting people! Real friendship is a rare and precious gift, strong, stable, yet fragile, and never to be taken for granted. Many people will walk in and out of our life's, but only true friends will leave footprints in our hearts. Inshallah!
P.S. halfway though honest, maybe a pause for a coffee now!

What I Am Looking For
I am looking for that special person who has soul and heart of gold, caring, bubbly and is as easy going as me!
Enjoys the wonders of the world around us which Allah has gifted us with.
Makes me laugh and one who I can laugh with me.
Honest, romantic and genuine.
Family oriented. Some one who has respect for her elders and her family and mine as I will do for yours.
I do not smoke or participate in any other dubious activity. I would therefore also prefer my lovely wife not to do so also! Also I am not a fan of causal smokers (hint)!
Living arrangements would be totally up to the both of us. I.e. we can live where ever our hearts desire. This could be in our own house or with the family if that's what we want. I guess this depends on our respective situations. Do like the idea of our own place so we can mould it to our own quirky tastes.
Lets be honest does anybody know exactly what we want, I don't. So if you think that you could be the one who could bring light into both of our life's then do get in touch! I may have not stumbled across your profile yet or passed over it not realising that you are the one!
There must be some one in the UK which fits the bill, or am I just too fussy. Only time will tell.
Intrigued and you want to know more, all you need to do is to get in touch and ask away.
I am also realist and I know that both sides need to have some sort of a physical attraction as catalyst, so I have included some photos of me. You'll need to request access, ladies first of course. Therefore I am sure that you would agree with me that the exchange of photos is helpful at an early stage. It's nice to have an image associated with a profile. If you think I could star in the next big Hollywood blockbuster Horror movie, then please do remove your access to the photo gallery. Also it just saves a lot of time.
The photos I have chosen hopefully portray my personality, I could have simply uploaded some glamorous photo shopped images of me all donned up in a classy suit. One that’s just boring, and secondly how many of us dress like that on a daily basis.
Do like that new swap photo feature which SM has implemented (hint)!
Best of luck to us all.
K. Hafiz.
P.S there are so many profiles out there with very little info about themselves. It's difficult to ascertain if there is anything in common. Get writing updating those profiles. How else are we supposed to find each other!
